Are you the right photographer for us?
Choosing the right photographer for your portrait needs doesn't have to be difficult! It is very important to me that each client receives a one of a kind customized experience. I make a point to get to know each of my clients so that I can design a session to fit their unique personality and style. It is a great time to get to know one another and to see if we are a good fit. Consultation are always free!
What does your Signature Portrait Sessions include?
My signature portrait sessions are relaxed and fun as I capture natural emotional images that tell your families story. We take advantage of the beautiful golden light in our vast mountains, meadows and river landscapes to serve as a beautiful backdrop for your portraits. Included with each Signature Portrait Session:
- pre-session planning & styling guidance
- up to 1 hour professional session of your choice
- 5 fully edited, high-resolution digital images
- online gallery to choose images
- option for purchasing additional digitals or heirloom products
Most families choose to upgrade their digital collection after viewing their gallery. I also offer heirloom products for families that want special keepsakes for their homes.
What kind of products do you offer?
Most of my clients come to me for a full service photography experience and love going home with beautiful keepsakes. I love providing you with finished artwork for you and your family to cherish and display. I offer the following products:

When should we book our session?
I accept a limited number of sessions each month to ensure my clients receive the best experience. It is very important to plan ahead. I recommend booking several months in advance to receive your desired date in our books. It is especially important for our maternity and newborn clients to book well before baby is due. For our adventure elopements and weddings please book in advance!
How old can newborns be?
Newborn sessions are for infants under 14 days old. However are best photographed between 5 and 10 days of age. Because of this short time frame I highly recommend booking your newborn session 2-3 months in advance to insure a spot in my books.
When is the best time for a baby session?
Oh how love photographing precious little babes! There are many great milestones in your babies first year. I recommend sessions at 6-7 months when baby is sitting on his own, but not yet crawling. One year sessions are also great! I also offer Cake Smash sessions at one year that include the cake, balloons, and even the clean up! Please contact me to discuss what would best fit your families needs.
What do we wear?
Choosing what to wear for your session is a very important step to achieving beautiful well rounded portraiture. Each client will receive a what to wear guide full of great ideas! I am always happy to help you with outfit and color scheme ideas personalized to you.
I have a special idea or pose in mind. Can we recreate it?
Of course! That is what custom photography is all about! We will go over all your ideas during your consult so that I can custom design a session to fit your unique style and ideas.
What if we need to reschedule?
As a mother myself I understand that there are circumstances when you may need to reschedule your portrait session. I ask for at least 48 hour notice when rescheduling due to sickness or family emergencies. For outdoor sessions we may reschedule due to bad weather. We will keep in touch and make that decision together, however please keep in mind that overcast days and light rain and snow can create some truly magical portraits!
